Rebecca Seward
My current research interests encompass the application of fundamental behavioral principles to socially significant issues, particularly applied behavior analysis interventions related to the promotion of behavioral health and wellness. Some of my most recent research has involved evaluating a group contingency aimed at increasing step counts among individuals with disabilities receiving services at a vocational and independent living training center. Other research areas that interest me include caregiver skill acquisition and its subsequent impact on client outcomes, as well as teaching independent living skills to individuals with disabilities.
I am receptive to the interests of my students, and I encourage those who may wish to engage in research activities to contact me. Under my guidance, students can expect opportunities to contribute to ongoing projects or develop and execute original research initiatives.
