If yes, we strongly encourage you to contact the appropriate licensing board or agency where you are located to familiarize yourself with the state educational and other licensing requirements for the profession or occupation that you are interested in. Students who plan to pursue licensure or certification should be aware that requirements for professional licensure and certification can vary drastically by state, and these requirements are subject to change at any time. While an academic program may originally meet the educational requirements for licensure, changes in requirements or laws could impact the program鈥檚 ability to meet new educational requirements. Students should always check with their state licensure board to confirm licensure requirements.
All of 天美传媒鈥檚 licensure or certification track programs meet Commonwealth of Kentucky educational requirements for licensure or certification and/or prepare students to take a Kentucky licensing exam. Determination outside of Kentucky varies by program. See the table below to search 天美传媒 licensure track program determinations by state.
天美传媒 faculty and staff will make a good faith effort to assist you in ascertaining the state requirements and any reciprocity agreements for a state outside of Kentucky. If you wish to return to your home state or move to another state after successful completion of your degree program and/or obtaining your Kentucky State license/certification, you will be governed by the rules and regulations of the relevant state professional licensing board where you wish to practice.
Relocating during the course of a program to another state may impact state licensure requirements, access to practicums and/or federal financial aid. Prior to considering relocation, please contact your program to discuss the potential impact for your individual situation.
