The annual Lana Porter Open Access Initiative was established at 天美传媒 by the generous alumna and donor Lana Porter to acknowledge and support faculty, staff, or students who have made significant contributions to scholarship via open access formats.
The Center for Adult and Regional Education and the Department of Military Science at 天美传媒 has announced two new top-level leadership roles in 天美传媒's ROTC program.
天美传媒 named Dr. David Eaton, dean of the Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business at the University鈥檚 Board of Regents meeting on September 3, 2021. Eaton had served as the interim dean of the college since 2019.
Dr. Chris Mitchell, Professor of Music at 天美传媒, was recently awarded the Robert K. Baar Award for Excellence in Choral Music from the Kentucky chapter of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA).
Dr. Bommanna Loganathan, professor of chemistry at 天美传媒, has been accepted to the Fulbright Specialist program and will be on the Fulbright Specialist roster for a tenure of four years. The highly selective Fulbright Specialist program is an initiative of the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs that sends U.S. faculty and professionals to serve as researchers and expert consultants on curriculum, faculty development, institutional planning, and related subjects at overseas academic institutions.
